Sinclair Group Announces Spin-off of M & A Advisory Division back
31 December 2004
The Woodlands, TX

The Sinclair Group, a leading process and process automation industries consulting and mergers and acquisition (M&A) advisory firm, is spinning off its M&A Advisory Division which has been branded CXO Advisors.  The new company, CXO Advisors, LLC, will be led by The Sinclair Group's former Managing Partner and President of the M&A Division, Gary A. Lenz and former Vice President and CFO, Cole M. Dudley.

In addition to its M&A Advisory business, Sinclair Group provides management and operations best practices consulting services to the process industries comprising the refining, petrochemical, resins and fibers, specialty and fine chemicals, pulp and paper, metals and the electric utility sectors.

H. L. Sinclair, Founder and CEO of Sinclair Group, stated that Sinclair Group has doubled in revenue each year since 2000.  The majority of our remarkable growth is due to generous referrals by the senior management of our clients. In order to create even more value for our clients, the management of Sinclair Group has recognized the need to focus more directly on each of its two businesses, the process consulting business and its automation M&A Advisory business.

David King, Founder and President of the Process Consulting Division added, "We are pleased that Gary Lenz, a former Emerson Process Executive, and Cole Dudley, a former venture capitalist with the AM Fund, have decided to lead the new company, CXO Advisors, LLC.  We believe that the formation of this new company will provide Sinclair Group with additional focus on its core process consulting business and for CXO Advisors to continue to grow the M&A Advisory business in the automation sector.
